Food Supply Notice
Monthly school meal menus for breakfast and lunch are published on this page so that families are aware of what foods will be served each day. Please be aware that due to regional and national food supply issues beyond our control, there may be times during this school year when our school meal menus must be adjusted, with as much notice to families as is possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Meal Updates for School Year 2024-2025
This school year, Wicomico County Public Schools will participate in a federal program called CEP (Community Eligibility Provision). The program offers all Wicomico students breakfast and lunch at no charge.
The charging of meals to student accounts will not be necessary this school year. However, a la carte items will be available for purchase through cash transactions or deducted from a student's LINQ Connect account on a school-by-school basis. Please Note: Any funds that remained on students' meal accounts at the end of June will be transferred to this school year. Negative balances on meal accounts will also be carried over into this school year. If a student's meal account is negative from a previous year, parents will be notified via automated phone calls, letters, and emails.
To assist you in managing your student's meal account, parents can view a student's purchase history, set spending limits and low balance notifications, and add funds to a student's account electronically at www.linqconnect.com, or through the LINQ connect app, available in the Google Play Store or Apple Store. Upon registering your account, you will have free up-to-date access. A fee up to $3.95 is assessed only when you add funds to the account. Please allow up to 24 hours for new funds to be posted to a student's account.
Along with using LINQ Connect, funds can be added to student's account at the school cafeteria by cash, check, or money order.
Feel free to contact the Department of Food and Nutrition Services office with any questions, comments, or concerns by phone at 410-677-4442 or email wcpsfns@mywcps.org.
